We believe that positive behaviour is an essential condition for effective learning and teaching. Children, staff and visitors have the right to learn and work in an environment which is safe, friendly, peaceful and fair. Positive behaviour must be carefully developed and supported. We use a consistent and meaningful structure of rewards and consequences for positive and negative behaviour choices in order to provide an environment in which all children and adults feel valued, respected and safe. We encourage all children to take responsibility for their own actions. Bullying, physical threats or abuse and intimidation from and towards any member of the school community are not tolerated and any incidents of bullying, discrimination, aggression, and derogatory language are dealt with quickly and effectively.
